The Long Paddock
Zanny Begg, along with a group of artists from NSW and Victoria, is currently engaged in a research project with the The New Landscape Institute on the network of Travelling Stock Routes across Australia. The Travelling Stock Routes, also known as The Long Paddock, create a uniquely Australian version of the commons, a web of communally owned land that allows stock, and wildlife, to move across country. Participating artists are Zanny Begg, Megan Cope, Hayden Fowler, Josephine Starrs and Leon Cmielewski, Bill Buckley, Sarah Last, Dave Burraston, Genevieve Murray and Tom Lee.
